At a time when ChatGPT has gained traction, particularly among young people, it is interesting to note that the survey shows 9% of 15-34-year-olds always consult ChatGPT about health and illness. Additionally, 12% of young people consider ChatGPT to be trustworthy.
In a press release, Ole Mølgaard states: “For a significant portion, 22%, ChatGPT’s trustworthiness is neutral, which may indicate that many perceive ChatGPT as a kind of search engine that merely provides access to others’ knowledge.”
The survey was conducted in connection with a new, extensive content area on body, health, and illness, which LEX launched on November 11.
