She made the announcement in a virtual address to the large audience at the recent KL Summit. The selection of projects will be supported by a symposium before the summer:
“Before the summer, I want us to have identified three large-scale artificial intelligence projects that can be rolled out in the public sector going forward. I propose that we reach out to skilled Danish companies. To talented Danish researchers. Our skilled public employees. And host some sort of symposium. That means—we try to gather the smartest minds in this field in one room. And yes, stay there for a couple of days.
We’ll make sure there’s coffee and some good food. But the goal is one thing only: To develop these three large-scale artificial intelligence projects for the Danish welfare society. By creating projects that genuinely redefine how we work. So that we make giant leaps into the welfare systems of the future.”
This is therefore a call to the ADD project’s circle of partners, who are invited to contribute with relevant proposals and opinion pieces for publication on ADD’s website.
