Join the AI and climate conference

AI has the potential to both support and hinder the green transition.

On the one hand, AI can optimize energy systems, accelerate green innovation, and strengthen climate research. On the other hand, the development and application of AI technologies require vast amounts of energy, water, and resources.

So is AI a key to achieving our climate ambitions – or part of the problem? And how can we harness the potential of AI while also taking responsibility for the climate and reaching our sustainability goals?

The Confederation of Danish Industry (Dansk Industri) and the think tank Mandag Morgen, under the auspices of the ADD project, invite you to a conference on May 2 at Industriens Hus, where actors from AI and climate research, business, and politics will gather to discuss the dilemmas and solutions at the intersection of AI and climate ambitions.

At the conference, you will hear from: Caroline Stage, Minister for Digitalisation, Andreas Holbak Espersen, Director of DI Digital, Lisbeth Knudsen, Strategy Director at Mandag Morgen, Mette Kaagaard, CEO of Microsoft Denmark, Marianne Thyrring, Director of the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), Helene Ratner, Associate Professor at Aarhus University and many more.
