ADD researchers are to exhibit interactive AI map at the Danish Technical Museum

In 2025, a massive interactive floor mat measuring 10x10 meters will be on display at the Danish Technical Museum.

The floor mat, called the “Grounded AI Map,” has been created by ADD researchers Mathieu Jacomy, Anders Munk, Mathilde Ficozzi, and others. It is an evolution of their previous mapping of scientific literature on algorithms and AI, conducted as part of the ADD project.

In the latest version of the map, the dataset comprises 2 million scientific abstracts retrieved from the research database Scopus.

To facilitate navigation and understanding of the map, they have developed a smartphone app to guide visitors around the map. The app includes chatbots capable of commenting on the annotated clusters of the map.
