Research seminar: “AI and Future Ethical and Societal Dilemmas”
AI and predictive algorithms are increasingly emerging as sites of struggle, controversy and competing values. This seminar engaged with this theme, looking into the concept of responsible and trustworthy AI as well as understanding the social context of AI, including the local situated negotiations of the ‘ethically good’ algorithm and public controversies relating to the temporal aspect of predictive algorithms in child protection work.
